Chapter 265

Winnie climbed out of bed; her face full of displeasure.

"Mummy..." Sidney poked his head out from under the blanket, rubbing his eyes. His almond-shaped eyes were alert. "Who is it outside the door?"

Nervous, the baby feared that Lawrence had found them and had come to capture him!

"I'll go and see, Oscar, don't be nervous," Winnie reassured him, subconsciously wrapping him up tighter. She walked out of the bedroom and closed the door behind her.

She reached the doorway; there was a surveillance camera in the upscale apartment building's corridor, so she wasn't afraid. She opened the door and stuck her head out, asking, "Who is it in the middle of the night... Ah!"

With a cry, she was forcefully dragged out-

The person had large hands, and with an angry force, they pressed her against the wall.

Winnie looked up at the man in front of her... and was taken aback. A hint of guilt flickered in her eyes. Oscar was still inside!

She pretended to remain calm and angrily said, "Mr. Rodriguez, why do you keep haunting me?"

The woman's voice, just awakened, carried a seductive charm, and her drowsy beautiful eyes exuded a hint of confusion.

Lawrence lowered his gaze, his eyes darkening. She tightly clutched her robe, but a faint fragrance wafted from her sexy collarbone.

In the tranquility of the night, it subtly enticed his attention.

After his momentary annoyance, he wished he could strangle her by the neck and menacingly questioned, "Did you use some witchcraft on me? Cunning woman!"

Winnie didn't understand.

Looking at her slightly narrowed beautiful eyes, her long eyelashes fluttering lazily.

Lawrence's Adam's apple moved, his anger growing. He pressed closer and said, "Tell me, what methods did you use? Otherwise, how could I not feel attracted to Darcy or any other woman, only you!"

Winnie finally understood. Did he mean that he didn't desire Darcy due to her methods?

Only she could trigger his desire?

Winnie had never expected this. What could she say? Served her right!

With a soft chuckle, her lips curled slightly, and she glanced at his handsome and annoyed face, giving off a seductive charm. "So, Mr. Rodriguez, you're not able anymore and have come to find me to satisfy your desires?"

"...Lawrence's handsome face turned black, wishing he could strangle her.

With his ears turning slightly red, he squinted threateningly, filled with impatience. "Do as you did in the bathroom tonight. I want to see clearly what tricks you used this time!"

Winnie stiffened, feeling suffocated as she was pressed against the man's strong body. She wasn't that kind of person!

Oh, he was unsatisfied and came to test her?

But why should she play along?

After all, they had slept together three years ago, and he had some instinctual thoughts about her. It was not surprising for Winnie.

It seemed like he didn't quite understand, and he was rather frustrated.

She smiled coolly, moving her hand away gently, and said in a soft voice, "To be honest, I find your enthusiasm disgusting. Do I really need to use tricks on you, Mr. Rodriguez? Can't you control your own body? Are you still a man?"

"...Lawrence was stunned.

He fainted with a gasp.

He pinched her waist, his eyes deep and dark, clouded with gloom. "If you didn't flirt in the bathroom, would I act this way?

Damn woman, you're quite skilled, haven't you done this to many men before?!"

The thought of this burned his jealousy, scorching his rationality.

Just how many men had she experienced in these three years...!

Enough to be so carefree, light-hearted, and alluring.

"Do you want to know? But what does it have to do with you?"

Winnie's smile was elusive, the amusement not reaching her eyes. "Mr. Rodriguez, you should hurry home. If you keep coming to see me, your Darcy will be heartbroken."

"You have the nerve to mention her! If you didn't scheme to seduce me, how could she be heartbroken?"

Lawrence was filled with anger. "What have you done? Why am I like this only with you? Explain it clearly, otherwise, you won't have peace tonight!"

Winnie rolled her eyes, her gaze slightly cold. Perhaps Darcy had instigated him to come cause trouble for her again.

Has he lost his common sense?

How could she explain such matters? Shouldn't he ask himself?

Her lips twitched fiercely. Winnie nonchalantly remarked, "Maybe I'm just too charming. Mr. Rodriguez has been holding onto memories of me for three years."

"You're delusional!" That was absolutely impossible.

Lawrence's eyes turned sinister. Gazing at the woman's exquisite face, his deep pupils resembled glaciers. "You heartlessly killed our child three years ago. I will never forgive you in this lifetime, and I only desire to tear you apart."

Winnie froze for a moment.

The child he claimed to be killed was now peacefully asleep inside.

This man didn't deserve to know that Oscar was still alive.

A flicker of nervousness crossed Winnie's eyes. She raised her head and smiled coldly, "Tit for tat, I will never forgive the man who drove me to jump into the sea."

"When did I force you to jump into the sea?" Lawrence was bewildered.

He didn't openly force her, but he ignored her desperate call for help at the end.

Holding deep hatred in her heart, Winnie started shooing him away. "I'm not interested in chatting with you so late at night, Mr. Rodriguez. Since you dislike me so much and can't control your emotions, I can only give you a piece of advice."

Her eyes were mischievous as Lawrence hesitated. He instinctively asked, "What advice?"

"Get a vasectomy, and the problem will be solved."

"..." Lawrence took a deep breath.

Taking advantage of the moment, Winnie turned around impatiently, wanting to close the door.

"What did you say, you're asking for death..." The man squeezed through with one long leg.

Winnie was not polite. Seizing the opportunity, she lifted her knee and aimed for his waist.

"Ugh." A sensual muffled groan, Lawrence bent over with a contorted handsome face. He blocked the door with his large hand, raging with anger. "You kicked me there, you venomous woman!"

Winnie pursed her lips lightly, spoke lightly, "In any case, Mr. Rodriguez, you shouldn't have come back. I will never sleep with you. It can be any man, but not you."

Lawrence was in too much pain to speak.

"Winnie, you wait for me!" the man exclaimed angrily. Seeing her hurriedly closing the door, he remembered what she had just said and jealously kicked it, muttering, "So, you're hiding a wild man in your room? Who, Rock?"

Winnie turned her back to the door, her face slightly pale, struggling to breathe. She couldn't reveal Oscar.

She kicked the door back in retaliation, saying, "Yeah, I'm promiscuous. If you keep bothering me, I'll call the police."

"You call the police, it'll be an opportunity for them to catch you, a married woman cheating!" the man triumphed.

Winnie was speechless and childish. She suddenly twisted her smile and said, "Why don't you go to the hospital and check your vital part? I put some force into that kick."

"..."

Lawrence stared at the door, and reluctantly entered the elevator, immediately calling Bryan.

Bryan, with tired and bloodshot eyes, almost fell to his knees. "Mr. Rodriguez..."

"Revoke Winnie's medical license immediately. Let her be unemployed in Lymington!"

"Also, inform the auction company that from tomorrow onwards, Triton will be given to Darcy."

This woman didn't know her place for provoking him. Thinking about the problems he encountered tonight, Lawrence was filled with fury and felt the need to teach her a lesson.

Hiss-The man sat in the car, his hand in his pocket, taking quite some time to calm down.

"Get me a urologist," Lawrence gritted his teeth.

"..." Bryan was completely speechless. Wasn't he supposed to go cause trouble for Miss Anderson? What did Mr. Rodriguez want now?

Winnie took a calm breath and heard the elevator door closing. Only then did she feel her way back into the bedroom, but she couldn't see Oscar when she lifted the covers.

She froze, her face filled with panic, and turned her head in alarm, "Oscar?!"
